Favorite trap lines?
I just went to Piken Square with Barbed & Flame Trap for some fun trapping and had a hell of a time. (solo)
If the traps didn't manage to finish them off, then 1 or 2 barrage shots did the trick. Only problem is to find the right spot for the traps and to get the mob over them all in one, especially when there are lots of ranged types. So, I'm curious, what spots do you use to do some trap hunting? (solo or with henchies) |

I never played with traps, but you were talking about Charr.. when you exit from Nolani Academy in Diessa Lowlands, there is a place with a lot of charr, and to get there, you must cross a bridge.. in fact, it is the only way to get in.. or out, you may want to try that there.
To find the place I'm talking about, remember the quest of killing a charr boss called bloodfang or something like that. You may have some fun there |

Traps are good fun, but don't forget to bait the trap with Favorable Winds. Most mobs will aggro the spirit and bring them right to trap, giving u time to set more or do ranged damage. I usually set, in this order, Winds, Dust, Barbed, Flame, and then pull mobs to spirit. When mobs hit spring trap, cast Healing Spring to protect any melee hits while you are finishing them off. This is just "a way" and not "the way" and would love to see some other trap combos.
